I am not sure if this is the spot but I heard of Greg's passing about a year ago in my Punahou Year Book but did not know what happened but remember just being very sad and thinking of the times I shared with him. I actually met Greg in 5th grade at Kahala Elementary. I was a new kid and he was one of the popular kids and I remember siting next to him and getting a "love note" passed from him on its way to a classmate of ours Michelle Moder. I passed it on and ironically Greg, I and Michelle all ended up at Punahou together. In sixth grade Greg and I would compete to see who could contribute the most in our Social Studies Class. Everytime you raised your hand a made a contribution you got a point. Greg and I were far ahead of anybody else in the class and neck and neck but then I was out sick for a few days only to get back and find out I had been beaten good while I was gone. Nobody can say that Greg was not competitive. When Greg left Punahou I lost touch with him but he was a good friend back then and somebody I will never forget and somebody who made my life better for knowing him. - Layton Morgan
